What counts as a source

The Land Transport Authority’s data set on data.gov.sg for COE results, and the Singapore Department of Statistics data set (source: LTA) for the prevailing quota premium; LTA’s OneMotoring pages and news releases for tax rules; the Monetary Authority of Singapore for car loan limits; IRAS for the GST rate. A news story, a forum thread or a dealer’s brochure can tell us that something changed; nothing is published until the official figure has been read.

How a figure reaches a page

A script reads the open data after each bidding exercise and writes the results to files that the pages and calculators use; nobody types a premium into a page. Tax rules sit in one parameter file with the date they were read. LTA’s web pages are linked, never copied or framed.

Estimates

A figure that LTA has not yet published, such as the PQP for the coming month before it appears in the official series, is shown as our calculation with LTA’s rule and says so. The site never forecasts the next COE premium.

Independence

Radif Partners receives nothing from dealers, parallel importers, banks, insurers or scrapyards, and the pages carry no affiliate link. The site is not affiliated with or endorsed by LTA or any government agency, and it does not use their logos.

Corrections

A reported error is checked against the official source the same day; if we were wrong, the page is corrected and the date updated. Write through the contact page.
